For Emilio Vallejo, quality is a strong value. Our Quality and Enviromental Departament was created in order to regulate the fulfilling of the adequate procedures according to the Quality regualtions, from the very beginning in manufacturing till the delivery of our bottled oil.
Oil tasting is carried out daily by expert professionals who select and combine oils according to the client´s needs and the product technical specifications.
Our own laboratory and external laboratories do guarantee the purity and chemical parameters in our oils.
EMILIO VALLEJO, S.A. was one of the first firms of this sector obtaining the certification of quality ISO 9001, which certifies the regulation from the manufacturing of olive oil till the bottling process.
This certification is given by AENOR (the Spanish Asociation for Regulation and Certification), as a member of RED IQ NET (International Entity for Quality Systems).

In addition to our commitment on Sustainable Development, we have been one of the first companies in our sector which obtained ISO 14001 in Environmental Management, covering up all processes from production to bottling processes.
EMILIO VALLEJO, S.A. is aware of the impact produced by environmental pollution in industry, so we got the ISO 14000 certificate by AENOR-IQNET, for production and bottling of olive oil.

The firm has recently obtained the product certification Applus as “Extra Virgin Olive oil VALLEJO”, fitting therefore the norm and regulation UNE 34.601, 34.605 AMD 34.606.
As a consequence of this obtention, the Andalussian Government has awarded us with , symbol of Certified Quality. This is the first time this is done for a company that isn´t within the production area of an Origin Denomination.
These certifications highlight the perpetual concern of Emilio Vallejo for quality. Each day, by improving the processes of production, we acquire and keep our clients trust.
In 1.998, our Quality Department had as one of their first tasks the execution of a Traceability System, which generates the necessary registries in order to show the different process stages: from the entrance of olives, till the bottling of oil.
In the European Union this system is compulsory since January, 1st 2005.
